Joe's Again Reviews

WOW!!! Came here as a new customer and was not disappointed. Good lord am I full, that food was amazing. Wings and Fries were hot and fresh. I ordered the mild Buffalo wings with a sweet tea and Strawberry cake. Strawberry cake was the bomb. My husband got the wings with the famous Joes sauce spicy, but the right amount. The flavors are flavoring! This is my new favorite spot when in the area. Joe is so nice and friendly and his own grandfather helped build the building. Absolutely will be back, and next time I will get the Mac n cheese and Ribeye. Thanks Joe

Spent a week on vacation in Florida, & the best meal we had was on the drive home through Alabama. Literally everything we ate Joe's was amazing.

Oh brother...be prepared for deliciousness! That's all I can really say. Right off the interstate, but take out only. Southern bbq and home cooked! And the service was amazing to put a smile on your face.

I got the Joe's burger, and my friend got the cheeseburger with added bacon. Holy smokes. It's big, it's juicy, it's delicious, and the fries are awesome too. The service was great! I don't know his name, but the guy that took our order was professional and polite, all with phone orders coming in and people in line. It only took about 15 minutes to get our 3 orders ready, and he brought it out to our car, fresh and hot. If I lived here, I would be a regular!

The burgers here are legit! They require both hands to hold them & they have the real beef taste. I had the bacon cheeseburger w/ grilled onions. The fries were crispy & seasoned just right. Whew! My stomach was happy. I also ordered the ribs w/ the sauce on the side, mac & cheese and collard greens. The ribs reminded me of my family's backyard barbecues; the meat was tender & seasoned well. The sauce was tasty, reminded me of Sweet Baby Ray's. The greens were too salty for me & the mac & cheese reminded me of doctored Kraft mac & cheese, not a baked mac & cheese. It wasn't my favorite. The hush puppies were tasty. The pound cake tho! Somebody's grandma baked that baby. The slice was smaller than I'm accustomed to getting at a restaurant, but the flavor, moistness & taste made up for it! It's a hole in the wall, that's delivering great flavors! I can't wait to return & get that burger again! The staff was friendly. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant.

I ordered a loaded baked potato with shrimp, ground beef , cheese, & tomatoes. Everything was good and flavorful

The Joes burger was huge! Fries were pippin hot and seasoned well. The staff was informative on the menu. The wait wasn't very long for a small crew. There isn't much room to dine one so I ate it the car. The burger was so big it will definitely be my lunch tomorrow.

First, let me preface this review by saying I'm not a local. I was in Montgomery on a business trip, traveling from Minneapolis, so of course I wanted to have some good ol' southern BBQ before I left town. Placed the order online via the Yelp app, ordering ribs, mac'n'cheese, hush puppies and coleslaw. The app kept saying the order was being prepared for like 45 min, so I took a chance and went in. I was immediately greeted by a man who held the door for me as I walked in (nice southern touch of southern hospitality! ), and I asked him if my order happened to be ready when he got behind the counter. He called back and another young man brought my order. I made small talk, telling them I was visiting from MN, and they were both so sweet, assuring me that I'd love the ribs. YES! I loved the ribs! Smoky, with lots of meat on them, and just the right amount of sauce. I love being able to really taste the meat and smoke, and these were spot-on. And BIG! I ordered the half rack meal and it could easily be split with two people. I hated leaving them in my hotel room when I checked out- if I could have brought them home, I would have! And let's talk about that mac'n'cheese! Creamy, cheesy, and just the right amount of pepper and seasoning. Not greasy, and no fake cheese in there. Just good eats! The hush puppies were really tasty too! Being a northerner, I'm no expert, but I loved them and they will be the standard I judge others by now! Thanks to the nice staff for being so friendly to this Northern gal - if I get back your way, you know I'll be there!
